Andy Hoare
Founder of Neo Opsis | Automation, AI & Operational Intelligence for UK SMBs
Profile
I'm the founder of Neo Opsis, a consultancy based in Redhill, Surrey, building business process automation, reporting and dashboards, and AI workflows for UK small and medium-sized businesses. The premise is simple: the same automation discipline that runs global enterprise platforms, fitted to businesses of 10 to 50 people, without the per-seat licensing or the six-month implementations.
Before Neo Opsis: I've spent 17+ years building the platforms that global brands use to get marketing work done. Not the campaigns themselves, the systems underneath. The workflow tools, the automation, the infrastructure that turns chaos into something repeatable and scalable.
My focus has been on taking emerging technology (AI, vector search, RAG-enabled workflows) and turning it into products that actually work in enterprise environments. Not proofs of concept. Not demos. Real tools that real teams use every day.
I've led product across 200+ enterprise implementations at OLIVER, working with global brands across fashion retail, drinks, consumer goods and investment banking. Before that, I spent seven years at TAG Worldwide delivering for household names in grocery, snacking, insurance and automotive. More recently, I've been operating directly inside the Brandtech ecosystem, delivering real integration work across Pencil and OMG, including the cross-platform projects where both platforms meet.
What I'm known for: bridging the gap between product strategy and actual delivery. I care about things working in practice, not just on slides.

What I'm Good At
Experience
Neo Opsis
Founder
I run Neo Opsis end to end: mapping the rules, exceptions and decision patterns a business runs on, then building them into automation, reporting and AI workflows the team actually trusts. Every engagement is senior-partner-led from first conversation to handover.
OLIVER Agency
Lead Product Manager / Senior Business Analyst / Solutions Lead, 2015 to Present
I lead product strategy and enterprise solution design across OLIVER's global marketing workflow platform (OMG). In plain terms: I figure out what we should build, how it should work for clients at scale, and then make sure it gets delivered properly.
Product & Platform
- Led the product roadmap across 200+ enterprise implementations. That means constant trade-offs between what individual clients want and what the platform needs to become.
- Designed the multi-tenant architecture approach: build once, roll out globally. It sounds obvious, but getting there from a services-first company was a significant shift.
- Act as the senior product and solution authority across multi-region programmes. When things get complicated (they always do), I'm the one in the room making the call.
Commercial Impact
- OMG became a core differentiator in winning major enterprise accounts. Not a checkbox feature, genuinely part of why clients chose us.
- A global drinks brand has been a client since 2018 and continues to expand. Most recently, a £750k project that spans both Pencil and OMG. Long-term relationships built on the platform delivering real value.
- For a global fashion retailer, the platform's scalability and automation capability gave them the confidence to commit to a major operating model transformation.
- Designed automation strategies targeting 80% workflow automation across global marketing production. That's not a slide deck number, it's based on actual workflow analysis and implementation planning.
- Built the integration strategies that make the platform genuinely sticky. When your workflows run through a system, switching costs are real. That's by design.
AI & Innovation
- Contributed to Slipstream, an AI-powered briefing and workflow automation tool. Not "AI sprinkled on top" but genuinely rethinking how briefs flow through production.
- Hands-on with vector search and RAG patterns applied to real marketing workflows. The kind of AI work that actually reduces manual effort, not just generates content.
- Participated in technical discussions with AI infrastructure partners including Weaviate.
Enterprise Systems
- Led the integration of NetSuite ERP into the platform ecosystem, working across Finance, Product, Engineering and Operations to make it happen globally.
Leadership
- Regular presentations to senior leadership including CEO-level stakeholders. Platform roadmap, strategy, transformation pipeline: the stuff that shapes where the company goes next.
- Run complex multi-team workshops across client and internal stakeholders. When there are 15 people in a room with competing priorities, someone needs to keep things moving. That's usually me.
